REFLECTION

My knowledge of the basic news, editorial, and feature courses has grown. I now have a better knowledge of the features narrative parts after going over the lecturer's materials again. Learning about editorials also helped me when it came time to practice the assigned tasks. A feature story is a kind of journalism that delves deeper into the human side of a story, going beyond the surface details of a news event. of a news incident and delves into the most complex and relatable facets of a narrative.

SUMMARY

A feature story is a type of creative or journalistic writing that goes beyond simple information to look at the meaningful and personal elements of a tale. Character development, emotional engagement, conflict and resolution, background context, quotes, thematic depth, different viewpoints, research, multimedia components, the author's voice, an interesting lead, and the examination of subcultures or niche subjects are some of the essential components. By combining captivating storytelling with vivid visuals and aspects that go beyond typical news reporting, feature articles seek to create a personal connection with readers and give a singular, immersive reading experience.
