Summary :
Newspaper advertising is the oldest kind of advertising that is available to businesses to market their products and services. For marketers, newspaper advertising offers a variety of benefits. Even in the Internet and smartphone era, your potential customers are still reading printed copies, thus placing advertisements in newspapers can boost sales. An effective advertisement usually consists of five elements.

1.      Art/Photo
2.      Headline
3.      Copy
4.      Call to action
5.      Bussines identification

To understand what the advertisement is truly saying, pay close attention to what you hear or read. Advertisers want people to think that their goods would work miracles, change them into beautiful swans from ugly ducklings, or make their lives more fulfilling or simpler.

Reflection :
The fourteenth journalism meeting discussed "Advertising: Creating an advertisement news", which was presented by group 5, where the information on newspaper advertising was discussed, including how to create them, what makes an ad effective, the components of an effective ad, an example ad, and strategies for managing objections. First, with regard to newspaper advertisements, there are several benefits for manufacturers. I had a hard time understanding the line at first, but now that I've read it again, I understand it better. The second is about how to accomplish it and says that since humans just require food for survival, advertising cannot generate a demand for a good or service.
