Reflection :

After read the material about Using Photographs: Writing Captions i learned that journalistic images must be both aesthetically pleasing and able to convey a narrative. I was particularly interested in the section on writing effective captions, which provided practical tips and guidelines for creating engaging and informative captions. I learned that a good caption should be concise, accurate, and descriptive, and should provide additional information that is not immediately apparent from the photograph.

I also learned that captions should be written in the present tense and should avoid using cliches or overly dramatic language. Overall, I found this material to be informative and useful, and I believe that it will be beneficial for me in my future studies and career. I now have a better understanding of the role that captions play in journalism, and I feel more confident in my ability to write effective captions that will enhance the storytelling process.
